I've been here a few times after work for happy hour. Pretty standard bar located in a strip mall/store type of building. I guess I wouldn't go out of my way to come here but it's near work so convenient for happy hours.

My wife and I were there for the first Monday Night Football game and from a staffing and service perspective they were ready for a busy night. Food and drinks came at a very good pace. My wife and I both had burgers for the Monday special and both the Bacon Cheddar burger and the Bourbon burger were good. We ordered them medium done and they may have been a little under but close. For me, I am normally happier to get a good burger slightly under that well done. The beer was cold but a little on the flat side. All and all a positive experience that would get us back the next time we are in the area.

Went there on Monday night for $6.99 1/2lb burgers. Great deal! Burgers were fantastic! Beer was cold. Service very good. We will be back. Not a lot of customers when we were there but we enjoyed the relative quiet.

New management. New staff. Terrible service. A lot worse than it was before. We went there to have some drinks and appetizers during a wild game. Got there at 645, didn't have anyone come to our table until 710, didn't get our drinks after that until 720 when we finally went and complained to the manager. He did comp our first round, but still VERY slow service. My boneless buffalo wings took 30 minutes to come out and they couldn't even get the ranch dressing right with it. Needless to say, I will not be going back. Very sad, because the old management and staff were welcoming, friendly, experienced, and speedy. The new staff is... well, none of those things.

The last time I was at this place it was karaoke night and they played some of the most vulgar and disgusting music on the face of the planet. There is nothing special about the food or atmosphere in the place and would not recommend visiting them.

Just a regular little hole in the wall bar/restaurant that has something for everyone. There is a big space in the back of the place with jukebox, games, table seating and there seemed to be a few families taking a break from shopping on a Saturday with their rowdy kids and it did not even bother me sitting up at the bar. Service was awesome and they even accomodated a weird special request for food that was not on the menu for us. I would go again if needing a drink and snack while in the area. Not too shabby but nothing over the top unique or special either...hence the three stars!

This place is gross. Our waitress was licking customers necks and grinding on people, they let a dog come into the place and just chill with its owner and no this was not a seeing eye dog or anything, then on top of it all a fight broke out and they let both the people stay in the bar and continued to serve them even thought they were clearly drunk. Last but not least the drinks are way over priced! This place should be closed!

It was doing better... but they raised there prices on happy hour food (taco Thursday). The boneless wings are amazing!

12.99 for crappy steak bites... This place is wayyyy over priced for the stuff they put in front of you! Bartenders need help too..

We went here to try their happy hour. We ordered the Santa Fe Egg Rolls after asking to make sure they were vegetarian. They were not. That alone is unforgivable. We got a story about how they had been changed and the kitchen used an old box which is a suspect excuse at best. We got a replacement salad which wasn't very good. Both Items were comped but we still won't be going back as the rest of the service wasn't good either (ie the waitress only came back to our table about three times).

OK, so you are a new owner of a restaurant in the burbs. You're surrounded by chain places with line ups every night. You buy a place that had been in the area for a very long time and had a pretty good following, what do you do? I can think of a pretty long line of things that you could try. Changing the menu to an even more, lame ass bar food menu would not be on the top of the list! Really, what the hell are people thinking. Is there nothing but people buying restaurants with no imagination, no restaurant business sense, no sense of adventure and the crowd proved it. Not to be negative but on a street with every chain restaurant you can think of,some smaller chains like Pittsburgh Blue, Granite City and a bunch of other small joints I'm supposed to stop here for a regular bar food, frozen sides and regular tap beer? Man, the new owners must have had money to burn and nothing to go with it! Such a waste! KT

If you're looking for good service and good food DO NOT go to JCs. The bartender was not friendly and spent more time on her phone texting than taking care of guests. Our food took longer than thirty minutes for popcorn chicken and was not good. We had to ask for ketchup, waters, basically everything necessary to eat. The manager did nothing but sit at the bar looking like a slob and going outside to smoke and not washing his hands. The bartender liked to dig in her hair and touch her face without washing her hands. The cook brought our food out wearing street clothes, which looks unprofessional. There was a total of four people in the bar including us, so I'm unsure of why we had horrible service.

Pretty much typical bar food with a good variety of items though. The food is ok but the service is always great.

Friendly and attentive wait staff. Of course, it wasn't busy when I visited. BBQ beef brisket is good stuff. Especially with onion rings. The sauce was slightly sweet Late lunch time isn't busy. The restaurant is roomy and would be the perfect place to frequent for sports fans if it were closer to the city.

Stay away from chicken nachos! I've never tasted anything so bad in my life. J.Cousie's is popular with some, but I don't understand why. It appears I may have spoken too soon. After a night of ice skating, we thought we'd wind down at J. Cousineau's (with the understanding that no chicken nachos would be ordered). The people watching is amazing. There were the twenty-somethings who were dressed to go downtown but couldn't find the way. Eitherway, besides the young hipsters there are also those whom are content with their suburban lifestyle. We decided to take to the darts and were tempted by the pizza. The pizza was a very reasonable $8 and was unbelievable (or at least I'm assuming this as it took only about 3 min to devour the entire thing). This is a perfect lesson, that if you go once and may not be satisfied - do not fear another time and another choice of activities. This is a great place to have a game going in the background and through plastic projectiles at targets.

My husband and I had kind of an ongoing joke about this place, because it gets brought up a lot in suggestions when discussing where we should go to eat, yet we never would end up there. Well, we finally ended our joke and went on Saturday night. We wished we would of gone sooner. Not only is it a cozy little local bar, that is a hole in the wall, without being a hole in the wall, if that makes sense (it's clean, and the other customers didn't scare me!) Any ways, the food was way above par for bar food. My husband had a double cheeseburger and made sex noises the whole time while eating it. I had a buffalo chicken sandwich and it was excellent. The fries were oh soooo yummy as well. We were both very happy with our meal, after a long day. The only thing that came across as a little strange was that there appeared to be a lot of regulars that seemed possessed by the pull tab devil. Seriously, there were several people who went back to buy stacks and stacks of pull tabs several times while we were there, probably spending hundreds of dollars easily, each time. Call me crazy, but who has money to just throw away like that these days? Maybe it's just me, but I'd rather make sure I pay my bills, than to chance losing it all to pull tabs!
